Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. We are committed to providing you with clear and accurate allergen information in compliance with UK food information regulations.
Our Commitment
We take allergens very seriously and have procedures in place to manage them in our stores and in the preparation of our food.
- Product Labelling: All pre-packaged products sold on our website and in our stores have a full list of ingredients. Allergens are clearly highlighted in bold in the ingredients list.
- In-Store Bakery & Deli: For items prepared in-store, such as our baked goods and salad bar, allergen information is available upon request. Please speak to a member of our staff who will be happy to assist you.
- Cross-Contamination: We handle a variety of ingredients in our stores, including nuts, seeds, gluten, and dairy. While we take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are 100% free from any specific allergen.
The 14 Major Allergens
UK law requires that we provide information on the 14 major allergens if they are present in the food we sell. These are:
- Celery
- Cereals containing gluten (such as wheat, barley and oats)
- Crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters)
- Eggs
- Fish
- Lupin
- Milk
- Molluscs (such as mussels and oysters)
- Mustard
- Peanuts
- Sesame
- Soybeans
- Sulphur dioxide and sulphites (if at a concentration of more than 10mg/kg or 10mg/litre)
- Tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts)
